Before this past election, I, like millions of other people were forced to ask myself a couple of tough questions: Should I quietly walk into what some want to call, the fate of our existence?  Or, should I question time and place and cast a vote and hope I can influence the destiny of our country?  For a good many of us these questions became very important in our lives.  So important in fact that we had a huge turnout with millions of people exercising their freedom to cast their vote.

When I grew up I believed that the majority rules in a democracy.  And, that the voice of the majority would be louder and quiet the dissenters until the next election.  We would become one nation, governed by democracy and uniformed with the belief that we were the greatest form of government on earth.

It would seem we now live in an age where the loudest voice seems to be simply the latest celebrity who has access to the media.  The belief that we,  the majority of this country (the average tax paying citizen) have the strongest voice has come into question.  As a child I understood regardless if you were a Democrat, Republican or Independent, it was your duty to accept the decision of the majority. Now I find people that question this procedure, wanting to change the results.  This is not a complicated issue. The fundamental result of democracy is that majority rules.

So, who are these loud voices screaming about corruption and deceit regarding this election?  Are they in fact creating a climate that wants to change democracy from open and free, to controlled, with each citizen having a label?  They have cloaked themselves in a cape of pseudo intellectual babble justifying their position.  Simply put, they have surrounded themselves, with mirror images, of themselves.  So, consequently in order to survive and feel a part of the human race, they righteously conclude they have the clarity of vision for this country.  In reality these people have blinded themselves with their vision of democracy and only see government through expensive labeled eyewear.

The "left" elite extremist  has judged people of  strong religious belief and lack of social status, to be branded as dumb and victimized by a democracy which they do not comprehend the sophistication.   From their cocoon they are unable to relate to the man, or woman, who get up every morning at sunrise, labors all day, and primarily lives on the dreams that his/her children will not have to work as hard.   The extremist's compassion is truly only for themselves, which is evident by their reactions.

When extremism is given more recognition than the majority,  regardless if it is coming from the far right, or far left, is  harmful to any democracy.  You must fight for the right to have it, but you must also understand the destructive power of it.   I suggest to these elite extremists that they take a giant step backward, thank their creator, whomever they feel that is, for their fortunate position in this life, and simply consider, L.O.V.E. ( Logic Overcomes Virtual Extremism). Without L.O.V.E. there is no democracy--no open society, and no voice of dissension
